With the talk of comparing digital vs film, I wonder if anyone can provide
the DPI
equivalent of 35mm film. At some point, digital technology will progress
such that
digital resolution will equal film. What is that? 2000x3000 dpi? More? What
I am
thinking is right now, I like the ability to tweak a photo in photoshop. In
the near
future, you should be able to do so with the same resolution and clarity as
from
35mm. I know it will be harder to keep decreasing the pixel size of the
receptors
on the CCD (or whatever other technology), but what about having a 4x6 inch
CCD and using a 150mm lens to get the higher resolution?
