P3D FREE, FREE, FREE!!!

Let me repeat: To celebrate the startup of our second full season,
we will mail a free copy of our first newsletter to any one who
emails me their postal address. We are extending this offer from
the USA to anyone in the world.

Here is what you will read in Stereogram 3.1 (I am done with it and
after Jim Motley reviews it, it will be copied and mailed on Monday):

- President's Welcome message & Treasurer's report
- Full schedule (competition assignments, programs, workshops) for the
  new year.
- Illustrated report from our last meeting in June (Award's/Business
meeting) Put a face to familiar names!
- Slide of the year: See it and read Harold Kaiman describe how he
  took it.
- Jim Motley's "NSA '98 Convention Report". Jim's account, not
previously published in photo-3d! (fresh stuff!)
- Editor's illustrated review of two new stereo products: Bogen slide
bar and Paul Talbot's slide storage pages.
- The first installment of "A Tutorial on the Mechanics of Stereo
  Photography" by DrT.
- Illustrated (yes!) classified ads (members can place ads for free)

All this mailed to your mailbox for free! What's the catch? With the
newsletter you will also get a membership/subscription form and a nice
letter from the Treasurer begging for money. You can ignore it, or you
can send $15 (USA/Can, $20 elsewhere) to subscribe and receive 9 more
issues with illustrated club news, member interviews, interesting stereo
information (like the "Tutorial" series) and more!

So, what are you waiting for??? We need your address!!!

Current subscribers will receive this first issue but will have to
send in their renewal forms and money to get the next one.

Regards,

George Themelis, Stereogram Editor and OSPS Treasurer

PS. Please don't expect too much! After all, this is only a 6 page
club newsletter reproduced via a regular "contrast adding" B&W
     photocopier.
