P3D Cutting Scala film.

Could anyone who has used Scala b/w
slide film please advise me? Is the film
thicker than normal colour transparency film such as
K25 or Velvia? As ask because I am thinking
of trying some in a VM camera, but am 
wondering if it will pose any problems
in the VM cutter.
