Such vision would be better adapted to seeing vertical variations in depth.
Might be okay for for creatures that live in a fundamentally three-D world
like birds and fish.  Humans with stacked eyes would less able to guage
horizontal subtleties, so pilots might fare better than automobile drivers.


Depth perception would still use triangulation, but the other depth cues
would not be as pronounced, like perspective, again due to the fact we
inhabit a mostly flat earth.

Fewer people would read from side to side.  Spectacles would fit funny on
your nose.
