P3D Qualex processing problems!

Hi everybody.  I just thought I should let everybody know what  happened
to my film recently when I sent it to Qualex (Kodalux) for processing.
I sent in a roll of Ektachrome 100  (36 exp) for standard slide
processing, non-stereo, and some idiot at the lab ran my film through
the C-41 print processing chemicals.  The envelope that I sent the film
in was clearly marked SLIDES, but what I received back from Qualex was
PRINTS!  Needless to say, the images on the prints looked like they had
been taken on another planet.  The colors were all screwed-up and they
were all very dark.  Of course, I think that it is a miracle that
anything came out at all.  Because they ran my ektachrome film through
the C-41 process, I got back negatives.  And, they are the weirdest
looking negatives that I have ever seen.  When I contacted Qualex , at
first they insisted that it was impossible for them to have mistakenly
run slide film through the print chemicals.  I had to send the
"negatives" back to them to prove their mistake.  All they did in
reparation was to send me one roll of Elite Chrome 200, 24 exp.  I
called them and let them know that sending me just one roll of film in
exchange for ruining a roll of slides from a trip to Puerto Rico was
hardly sufficient.  Despite my phone call, all they would do is send two
more rolls of film.  The main reason I am sending this message is so
that everybody will be extra cautious if they send their film to
Qualex.  A Qualex representative told me that it wouldn't hurt if I used
a highlighter marker on the film envelope to emphasize that it contains
slide film and not print film.  I sincerely hope that nobody has the
same problem that I have had!
