I think this is the a similar feature that the Minox Stereo had. The
page said:

The Minox had a pin series on the outside of the camera that would act
as a synchronization unit (sort of make the other camera a slave); this
looks like it has the same system but using a plug or something to
electronically link the zoom, shutter and aperture of the two cameras.
Kind of a 'stereo ready' camera. It kind of reminds me of Midi in
musical instruments. Maybe someday they will add a 'through' plug, link
together many cameras and make nice lenticulars ;-)
