P3D Lost / Damaged film

Rick, I commiserate with you - it is always disappointing to loose a roll
of film due to a processing error, or because the film is actually lost.
However, I am not sure what can be done. I think that the agreement printed
on the mailers and envelopes is considered in many places to be a contract
of sorts, legality binding. If  crossing out "Like Amount" and adding
"Triple amount" works for you, good. I do think that people are looking for
perfection 100 % of the time, and that is simply not going to happen.


I know how sad it is to be told that some irreplaceable images have been
damaged, but it does happen.
