Just to relate that I had a similar experience with an Ektachrome film that
i had developed through my local camera shop. In this case they realised
their mistake after developing the film and did not produce prints but to
try to cut my losses I got them to try to produce prints from it at their
cost. Because they were probably done by by hand it should have been
possible to compensate with extra filtration for the lack of the built in
orange filter which a true negative film has. The resulting prints were not
to bad although the colours were off a bit , I would have thought that a
piece of blank colour negative could be inserted as an extra filter in the
printer to replace the missing orange filtration.     P.J.Homer
