No, no, Gabriel.  It is not a defect!  It is a feature...  Like the 
left shutter release button, buttom viewfinder, brick-like shape, 3 
actions to shoot, frequent light leaks, etc...  :-)

A long list of unique features.

Well... One thing is for sure.  Neither the vignetting or the light
leaks were visible back when the only film available was Kodachrome 
10!  The sunny day setting was between f5.6 and f8 at 1/50!
