And I think that I should jump in to these "Double Depth" discussions to point
out that the system (which is, in fact, what the Realist "medium" and "close"
mounts were all about, anyway) only works IN PROJECTION if the projectionist
doesn't immediately assume that the author cannot mount properly, and racks
the projector to superimpose the frames on the screen... Of course, it would
be fine if the projectionist put a 50mm separation to the infinity points.
(but they rarely do!)
