No Subject

Hi everyone,
 The other night a friend of mine gave me an old stereoscope as a gift and I
was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it. Here's what it says
on the back:
 "THE PERFECSCOPE" trademark U.S. patent Oct.15 1895
Canada, France, Germany, DRGM no.53803
June 3, 1902
Feby. 1. 1898
B.S.G.D.G.
Great Britain
Austria
Belgium
 
It's missing the part that holds the card. Is it possible to find parts to
restore something that old?
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
