P3D Let's get the ball rolling on Tech-3D

I subscribed to Tech-3D, too.  Let's start some stereo-related
conversations for a change.  Don't unsubscribe from Photo-3D.  You're
required to read every message.

I have seen some good conversations on T3D in the archives, but nothing
much recently.  Let's whip up some good stuff.  I'd be thrilled to discuss,
among other things

-underwater housings
-motorizing 50's cameras
-lens testing for stereo cameras
-making and using macro cameras
-math.  Naw, forget math.
