P3D RE: RBT spacing
In photo-3d digest 2972 John Baird and Harry Richards both state that
one of the reasons they chose the 75mm spacing was that it used the
whole roll of 36 exposure film producing 18 pairs.
The 65mm spacing of the model A uses the entire roll and produces 20
pairs. A much better retun on your film investment.
I assume they were comparing it to the 65mm model C which has full
frame but only produces 13 pairs.
It sounds like people are not buying the 75mm model B RBT's for the
lens spacing, but for the full frame and no waste.
I wonder if the 65mm were availble in full frame and no film waste
which would they choose?
Thanks for the time,
