1. Plug the cord to "X" (this is for electronic flash - the "M" is for
flash bulbs.
2a. Use either "A" and the suggested aperture (there must be an aperture
assosiated with this "A"... maybe it is marked, circled, highlighted
in the distance chart)
OR
2b. Use the manual mode (the other choice besides "A", if there is one)
and consult the distance chart on how to set the aperture. For
example, the chart might indicate f5.6 at 10 feet for ASA 100 film.
