Settings for the VRex Classic glasses are a bit cryptic. I have never
setup the SSDI. Installing the software is not the problem (for me
anyway). It was selecting the custom refresh rates and resolution
through the DOS applications. The reward here is running at 117Htz at
768 or 864 vertical lines.

Some monitors and video driver cards choke on this much data. This is
why it is 24bit color.

One annoying thing is that the only monitor that I can select in Windows
under display properties/advanced display properties/monitor/ select
device is "plug and play", not what I have. The reason for this is that
my monitor's recommended drivers don't allow me to run at the refresh
rates that I want. I could use "Display Doctor" to write these into the
register and allow these modes to be permissive. (oh boy)

Other stuff like "use current display resolution" in DepthCharge itself
affects the performance.

DepthCharge images are 24 bit. This is a world apart from pure
anaglyph. It is not a Realist slide. It is simply the best way to view
stereo on your computer. Cryptic? Difficult? Fun? Yes. Eventually you
figure it out.
