P3D List Manners

I remember distinctly that when I first joined the list, not having had
any similar experience of any kind, I was under the mistaken impression
that conflict and controversy was somehow a desirable thing. (remember
the weddng photography thread?) I assumed that this was what made things
interestng.  There's definitely a learning curve at work here.
Gentility works best in the long run, but we all slip or have a bad day
once in a while.  It's a shame when someone takes their marbles and goes
home.
