In a paper written by Lenny Lipton, he suggests that an image should not
appear to extend farther from the window than 7% of the diagonal of that
screen. Though he was writing about 3D video, it must be remembered that it
is only at the screen that there is any information at all. Looking infront
or behind the screen creates an unnatural relationship between the eyes and
brain which can lead to head aches, nausea, and eye strain.
