P3D Re: Divergent Infinity
The question of divergent infinity is part of the whole mounting
question, and includes the question of whether to mount to infinity
or mount to the window. Seems to me that the mounter should be aware
that there are limits on the far points and limits on the near
points, and while they are related, they are independent. While
mounting to the window, the mounter should also take a look at where
that places the infinity points. While mounting to infinity, the
mounter should also take a look at where that places the nearest
object. If either error is present (divergent infinity or window
violation), then make adjustments as needed to barely remove the
error. If one or the other error is inevitible, then maybe the view
isn't viewable, at least using the mask chosen. The two problems
seem to define the limits within which the mounting should be
adjusted.
