The slide bar has two parts. One (camera platform? - sorry I forget the
offical terminology) goes to the camera and stays there. The other
(sliding plate?) goes to the tripod and stays there.
The platform slides w/respect to the plate. There is no posilitity
of rotation there because the plate slides in a chanel. The camera is
fastened securely to the platform and there should not be any rotation
there either.
This is an extremely compact and useful product. It is relatively
flat and only 6" long. It can fit in a regular pocket or a small
camera bag. Allows very fast translation (thanks to the sliding
concept, instead of rack and pinion). You can leave the platform
with the camera and give it better support. It comes in and out
from the sliding plate very quickly. It is also less expensive than
equivalent rack and pinion systems.
I will let you know when I get my first *single* camera portrait
using this ingenious device!

PS. I still have a few left.... at a price lower than Dalia's :-)
If you would like one, email to: DrT-3d@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I am glad to see that Dalia decided to carry this. I do not
plan to carry any more and it is good to see that someone in
the stereo business does!
