P3D No More Kodak 25?

Paul Ivester informs me that Great Yellow Father of Rochester, in his
Infinite Wisdom, is dropping Royal Gold (nee Ektar) 25 ASA print
film, as only a few "pros" are using it (and maybe a few of those deviant
stereographers).
Hmmmm...Get rid of the ultra-fine grain, 25 ASA print film? - CHECK!
And...consider phasing-out archival, fine grain Kodachrome,
once the flagship film product? - CHECK!
And...produce only high-speed, don't-give-a-crap, second-rate
FUJI imitations and promote the less-than-full-frame APS
films for lobotomy-and-shoot snaps of Aunt Mitilda and
South of the Border, SC vacation? - DOUBLE-CHECK!!
Yes, YES! Why didn't Kodak think of these money-saving steps
before? It'll be the biggest thing since the Kodak Instant! Or the
Disk camera. NO, make that the consumer photo CD machines!
Is this a great country, or what?
