P3D Competitions

Although I have many years of flat photography experience, the
satisfaction of catching a great shot in stereo is alot more rewarding
for me. Initially, I entered the Ohio competitions to see my images on
screen ( I did not have a projector then, only a viewer ) and boy was I
humbled to see the translation on screen. I had some things to learn
about mounting and effects projection had on the images. Finally I
purchased a TDC and was able to learn much more about window placement,
projected detail ( or lack of it) etc. This season I have taken fewer
photos with better results, and will enter competitions to see the
improvements of other members as well. It's a curiousity/ learning
experience for me. 
Dr. T will be competing this year, so I will use the competitions as a
"scouting" opportunity....
I will study the films, look for weaknesses, injuries, and develop a
winning strategy for next year. New contenders always need a couple of
years to build a winner!      Next year, the letter " T" ( in Dr. T )
will stand for "Third" ......that is, third place. Karen & I will emerge
as victors!!
