P3D Competitions again

I guess I enjoy the competitions because I share the sentiment sports
announcers have for the NFL......on any given day I can win!
As I learn more, I have "raised the bar" of my own expectations, my
mounting is approaching the greatness of Dr. T's ( OK, so my images are
of beer cans.....not Greece :-)) I look at slides that I mounted last
year and I cannot believe I allowed errors etc. Gaining knowledge of
stereo photography is like a bell curve of "serious approach", that
is....fun at first, mounting errors look good, everything is great cause
it is 3-D!
The knowledge curve rises as do your expectations....I'm really getting
the hang of this! Hey, my shots are every bit as good as the ones that
placed in the competitions! Now the competitive side of me flairs up,
I"M GONNA WHOOP DR T! ( oops, now I got him going...there goes 40 rolls
through his Realist)
Once a winning status is maintained for a period of time,I can complete
the bell curve as a self appointed expert.....and who knows, perhaps a
judge.:-)  At that time I will advocate that competitions are for pure
enjoyment. " Why is everyone so serious, just have fun!!
