Great work, Jon! ;-) Wish I had come up with that one!

Gee Paul you are right...."Through the window" is what they do ...and
not "touching the window".

For me.....I'll have to read more carefully before I respond...I was
close but no cigar (ugh...bad overused pun these days!)

I cant comprehend why anyone would want to violate the stereo
window...except for one reason...or maybe a few reasons.

1) To demonstrate what it looks like with a stereo image deliberatley
mounted to show VERTICAL discrepancies, where one chip is set higher in
the window that the other...and the result is ANNOYING HORIZONTAL DOUBLE
EDGES.

2) To demonstrate what it looks like with a stereo image deliberatly
mounted to show HORIZONTAL discrepancies.... or..where the images are
pushed inwards towards each other too close...and VERTICAL DOUBLE EDGES
OCCUR

3) To demonstrate what it looks like with a stereo image deliberatly
mounted to show ROTATIONAL discrepancies. or..where one image is rotated
clockwize or counter clockwise...and a combination of 1 & 2 occurs.

Enough said...Jon G...The "no touch...touchy the window" Dept
