My experiences with Lerner are somewhat different.  I have had some
scratches
(not occuring now) and billing screw-ups (still occurring), but have never
had
them return uncut slides without a cardboard roll or film canister to send
them
back in.  That sounds like a freak occurance to me.  I use Lerner
extensively
and have found their work to be superior to Kodak's Chicago Lab.  They are
trying to make things better, or so say their sales reps.  Anyway, I think
I would
rather send to Lerner than trust Kodak's NJ plant.  Just my .02 worth -
your
mileage may vary.
