First, you can EMPTY the iron of its water by tipping it so the little
hole on the handle is pointed down TOWARDS THE SINK! Next, there's
usually some little button or knob that may (or may not) say STEAM.
TURN THIS OFF! :-) :-)
Not sure of the settings though. My suggestion would be to test a
couple of mounts with various temperatures. You need to seal w/o
melting the mount. Some folks have had great luck using small
laminating machines.
