Bob Wier has a cute 3-D X-mas bear viewing an old fashion stereoscope
done exactly this way. Every year he takes him (or her!) out of storage
and decorates his web page with this neat and novel ornament using
this neat and novel technique! :-)

It was surprising to learn how he had done this and there was some
discussion on P3D regarding using a scanner to take 3-D macro images.
