No need to crack them off the mirrors can be removed without that and I
have already done this because I had the same idea although I realised that
as Gabriel replied.

My idea was to remove and reverse the lens holder as well so that the
lenses are converging which would seem usefull for extreme close up and
perhaps as with a reversing ring on SLR that will make the lenses close up
as well. The cameras construction may still help reduce keystoning. This is
more involved than just removing the mirrors and I have not got around to
trying it yet. P.J.Homer
