Good point.  Also the "beamsplitter" requires no mounting fuss.  One
can just have regular chaep costco 35mm slide processing -- and stick'em into
the viewer to view.  Likewise if one wants dupes, just go and and
have "standard" 35mm dupes made, "anywhere".  One also can use the
same camera with a zoom lens, then mid-roll switch to stereo shots
and then back again.

P.S. - I *tried* not to say anything in this beamsplitter "round", but
       have finally broken down.... sigh...
