P3D Lenses of 110 camera ?

Actually, what I said was: "I have heard them likened to lenses from a 110
camera".

I take your point that what the person that I was referring to (David Burder,
actually) probably said
something like "simple 110 camera lenses". 

I do, in fact, have a Pentax 110 system, and a Minox sub-miniature, so I know
that these film format 
cameras do not automatically have bad lenses...
