Join SSA and share the fun of stereoscopic photography with fans from many
parts of the world. Although the Society is "officially" for members in the
USA and Canada, it has several folios that travel to Australia, New
Zealand, and Europe. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to get feedback on your stereo images, and
to see some of the best from the best.

The Stereoscopic Society of America (SSA) is a group of currently active
stereo photographers who circulate their work by means of postal folios.
Print, transparency and electronic formats are used, and several groups are
operating folio circuits to meet the needs of each format.

When a folio arrives, a member views and makes comments on each of the
entries of the other participants. This view, which has traveled the
circuit and has been examined and commented upon by the other members, is
removed and replaced with a new entry. The folio then continues its endless
travels around the circuit. Many long distance friendships have formed
among the participants in this manner over the years.

Due to the transit time restraints in mailing the folio to members,
membership in SSA has been restricted to USA and Canada, but there are some
special folios that travel to other countries. The Stereoscopic Society is
affiliated with the National Stereoscopic Association (NSA) therefore a
membership in NSA is required in order to join SSA and its folios. Annual
membership in SSA is $10.

Stereo photographers in North America, who may wish to join the
Stereoscopic Society of America should contact the SSA Membership Secretary
at one of the addresses below. If you contact me by email, include your
postal address so I can mail you an information package.
