Received the following reply from Naoma Roe, regarding use
of polarizers, etc.:

Thanks for clearing up Allan's method of photography.  Just to let you know,
he never Cha-chas.  He uses a slide bar and makes a great effort to measure
the interocular distance as 1/30th of the distance to the closest object
when using the Pentax.  He takes great care with every shot and almost
always takes twice to three times longer to take a shot than I do.  When he
uses his polarized lenses with his Realist, he either holds them with his
hands, or more often asks me to hold the lenses while he takes the shot.
Most of the time we are together when we photograph.  Thanks, Naoma
