P3D polarizer Mea Culpa

OK, OK...I got the private mail showing the error of my ways
in my last post. My memory chips must be loosening with age :-)
My recall was that the photographer of the excellent Fall scene
with polarizers (and this was at least 3-4 years ago!) was using
only an SLR. I remember many excellent close-ups taken with
it. Moreover, I never recalled any notes w/ the slides indicating
that he used a slide bar and kept to the 1/30th rule. Many of the
scenes (desert catus, a doll's face in a store, etc.) didn't seem
conducive to such a set-up.
As you can tell, his work always left an impression on me (what
better compliment can you ask for? :-) ). And I recall leaving
comically threatening comments on the form for him, telling him
how he was, in effect, "busting the curve," of good images the
rest of us were trying for :-). Indeed, I thought it was getting
senseless to love and promote all these wonderful, old two
lensed beasties when this fellah was knocking me over with
(what I assumed) was just a common SLR and (seemingly)
spontaneously cha-chaed subject matter.
My apologies to everyone over this matter. I guess that I
sometimes like to, uh, "enliven" the dialog on this list w/
controversial statements (a practice another prominent member
confessed to doing before :-) ). Gamma had a number of outstanding
and dedicated stereographers. I only left it after six years because
I was caught-up in moving and had not created an adequate backlog
of decent shots to contribute anymore.
Now, if I could just persuade my wife to skillfully hold two polarizers
in front of MY stereo camera... :-)
