  Nowadays, I use a Rochwite polarizer on my Realist.  But before I had this
gadget, I shot Polaroid filter effects by just holding a pair of drug store
clip-on polarizers that ordinary eye-glass wearers use in front of the Realist
lenses.  It was clumsy, but it worked and it was a cheap way to make the
occasional stereo Polarizer shot.
Very handy if you only need to grab a polaroid filter shot now and again.
