P3D 2x2 format

About 8 yeas ago I proposed to one Jerry Walter, then PSA aids and
standards chairman for the stereo division that 2x2 slides be included
in PSA affiliated exhibitions. His answer to me was that as long as he
was chaiman he would not require the sponsoring organizations to gear up
for this format. He felt the expense was too great. I reminded him that
the TDC 116 projector was up to the task. I argued further that the wave
of the future was the twin 35 because nobody will tool up to make a
Realist format camera. I saw this trend in action in Europe whree I
could not sell 41x101 mounts. I proposed a special mask to be made by
myself in the USA. David Stakman retoted with, "Who are you going to
sell them to?"
