Jim,
I took a quickie 3D stereo photo of the device as well as
an even quicker 2D photo. You can view the images on my web

Note that the manufacturer is "Spencer". The "tripod" attachment
you can see in the images may be for a "base" of some sort
instead. Not sure what the knob'ed screw attaches to. Anybody know?
I took the photos with a table lamp and the actual color of the device
is more of a light gray, lighter than it looks on my monitor.
Let me know if it looks okay, I'm still not quite sure how large an
image looks on other people's monitors (for the non-crossed eyed
stereo pair).
