You could also attack a Fuji GX617 ($2700 street price) with a Dremel
tool and mount a pair of the 90mm lenses for it ($2600 each) and still
wind up less than the Gilde.
I've actually given some thought to using a Horseman 6x12 Grafloc back
($850) and a homemade copy of Calumet's Cambo Wide (basically a metal
frame with a Grafloc back on one side and a lens mount on the other)
as the bassis of a MF stereo camera. I need to finish some other
projects before I can give it any serious thought.
