P3D Ebay prices

It's a funny thing and I guess it is all relative.

I recently purchased from Christies auction in London (not known for bargain
prices).
I got a (wooden) prototype TDC Vivid (must have been an early prototype &
pretty beat up) along with a prototype (working) Realist 33 (complete with
chrome trim/lens guard).

With my, albeit still limited exposure to stereo, these objects to my mind
are both nigh on legendary and priceless.
I know that £200 is a lot of money whichever way you look at it but I felt
like I got a real bargain!
(OK, I know that wooden lenses are not ideal for stereo photography)

I guess they could be fakes but I was assured by Christies that their source
was genuine.

Am I alone in holding these items in such high regard?
