P3D Pola-matic stereo projector???

Does anyone have any info on a "Pola-matic model 600 " stereo projector?
It looks like a metal cylinder lying on its side, with lenses on the
side and a single slide carrier that goes from end to end, and a handle
on top. Actually, it rather reminds me of a robot from a 50's sci fi
movie, or perhaps a vacuum cleaner. Any info appreciated. -Linda
