P3D V-M trade

I've just aquired some of the world's scarcest
ViewMaster reels. Beautiful stereo photography,
unusual subjects and locations, and all
packaged in the classic  VM square pack.

Did I pay hundreds of dollars at auction ?
Certainly not. I just finished my summer
 trade  of ViewMaster Personal reels
with two other Photo3D members.  This really 
is a great way to enlarge a collection, see
some great stereo, and have some fun.

We each agreed to take some extra shots
on our summer travels this year, made up some
additional reels, and then exchanged. For fun
we also made up fake VM packs (with modern
scanners and colour copiers this is very easy)
for the reels. One of the sets I received even
revived the old Sawyers "coin included"
device.

I did get a little carried away and made up
rather too many copies of some reels. So
if anyone would like to make a trade its
not too late!! E-mail me off list if you've got
a personal reel you'd like to trade. I am
not a salon winning stereographer- these
are jolly travel photos not works of art !
