P3D Nimslo Diopter..Help

I have a Nimslo camera. I have a magnifier/diopter of unknown value. I
want to place this over two of the lenses for close-ups. The diopter,
while placing it as closely to my eyeball as possible, focuses sharply
at a distance between 11 and 13 cm.( approx between 4-5 inches) The
nimslo has f5.6 30mm lenses focused from 6 feet to infinity. Using the
diopter, at what approx. distance should my close-up subject be from the
camera? I understand the DOF will be limited based on my eye view
through the diopter. While placing the diopter in front of the lenses, I
can also view  a portion of the diopter through the viewfinder and
adjust my distance accordingly. Could someone estimate the magnification
of this diopter, the distance it can be used with the Nimslo, and if
this diopter value will even work at all? Thanks. ( on or off list
