Even if you like them, one still can't get 4"x6" lenticular's for something
like six cents per print like one can for 2D prints at Costco (with
the processing which is minimal as well). And get them back reasonably
quickly too.

I think the original subject premise was stereo REPLACING
2D prints as the standard volume way people take pictures. One of
the reasons (and probably the #1 reason IMO) was price, and for that
reason people wouldn't like lenticulars.
On the other hand if you know how to get good 6-cent lenticulars for each
image in a roll of film, let me know and I'll use'm even though I
don't like lenticulars much (other than the high res ones that I've
seen Dalia sell -- those look quite nice).
Figure out how to make those high-res lenticulars for six-cents each (and
profit at it) and I think 3D is in business (make the associated camera
the same price as current P&S cameras too, btw :-).
