This camera has a fixed shutter speed, rated 1/50 sec., but you will 
have to test this out.

This appears to be a misconception.  EVEN IF YOU USE THE SUNNY 16 RULE,
YOU STILL NEED TO KNOW THE SHUTTER SPEED!  For example, if the shutter
speed is indeed a fixed 1/50, with ASA 100 film you have to use f22 on a 
sunny day, and not f16.  The rule says use f16 and 1/ASA shutter speed.
So you need to know/control the shutter speed.
