Do you _HONESTLY_ remember to check eBay every day to see if you can
find that "widgit" you have been looking for? And, if someone has listed
it, but you are using canned searches in particular directories, but the
seller didn't know enough about the "widget" to put it in the right
category, would you find it anyway?

I know that I post my 3D related listings on eBay to the Sell-3D list as
a _FAVOR_ to my friends on Photo-3D. I do not list the many other items
that are not 3D related. If you don't want to read them, then don't.
What is so hard about deleting messages you don't want to read? AND, why
do you think that because you don't want to read it that others don't
either??? There are over 1,000 of us on these 3D lists...
I delete messages that don't much matter to me _all the time_, but I
don't ever say "let's drop 3D topic x because I don't like it!" The fact
of the matter is that someone else does and we all _do_ have different
likes and dislikes in the "3D" world. I put up with messages threads
that are irrelevant to me, sometimes even mildly annoying because I like
the value of the whole list(s). I just don't understand the problem
here...

Everybody is entitled to their opinion.
Semantics aside, what it comes down to is this is a matter for the
moderators to decide. I for one will no longer post to the list about
this subject. I believe my opinion is clear, but I understand that it's
not for me to decide. Bob, Joel, George - can someone define the rules
as it pertains to this matter and let enough be enough? Thanks! =)
