I usually see them in the $50 to $100 range with or without a handful of
cards to go with them.  Occasionally there will be a price out of sight.
Could be the pariticular one was made by Holmes himself in his garage
or could be that the vendor has periodic 50% off sales.  Or something.

P{.S. - Or as has been pointed out in another list, someone on ebay tried
        to sell an Argus C3 for $400 (unsuccessfully).  May be hard to sell
        but the margins are wonderful for those times they do.
