P3D Viewmaster Mounting Question

Hi,

I finally got a View Master camera (from a guy who said he was fed up
with trying to mount the reels) and wanted to know if anyone could
recommend a mounting method. I've been able to open up the pockets with
a metal piece but I have had problems with getting the chips in without
bending the reels. I know there used to be a chip insertion tool but
I've only been able to find a pocket spreader on Dalia's page. I think
the insertion tool had a nib on it for allowing the film to be held. I
looked this up in the archives but had trouble narrowing down the hits.

Also, I've noticed in my camera that one image is quite a bit bigger
than the other. Enough so that it is difficult to mount the because the
exposed film sizes are different. Is this common with this camera? The
viewer I use is one of my kids toys so I don't really notice it much
after they are mounted.
