20 megs is good but your site does have a rather large banner
advertising for Fortune City on each page.  I am not sure if this is
better or worse than a pop up.  I prefer pop ups because once they are
closed the page looks more coherent to my eyes.

Why is that?  Is Geocities really that slow?
