I tend to think that we sometimes forget that there are different media
options for different needs. Personally, I'll shoot slides when I'm
preparing a presentation that is to be projected to a number of people.
This used to mean the majority of my underwater photography. I enjoyed
putting together shows of our various trips to present at the "after
trip party" as well as club meetings.

I shoot print film when I'm recording family events that will eventually
be placed in the various photo albums and scrap books that my wife keeps
for the boys and the family.

I shoot 3D in both prints (my newly acquired Loreo & Fuji adapter) and
slides (my Kodak) for my personal enjoyment and to record family
events. After all, it's what my grandfather did! Maybe someday I'll
even be able to create a 3D slide presentation similar to my 2D
presentations of the past. If George would just let me borrow his S-1
for my U/W housing on my next trip :-) :-) :-) I'd still like to know
what Mark Blum uses for his U/W shots. I have his Viewmaster reel set
(my first 3D acquisition) and I think it's great. Maybe someday.....
