P3D Stand up to a bully

Friends,

This weekend, George Themelis kicked me off Sell-3D for posting a humorous
parody there.  Occasionally, I write a message that prompts someone to send
me personal email.  This time, *ten people* took the time. Here are exerpts
of what they said:

Why was I kicked off for a message others found humorous?  It appears
George has settled an old unrelated argument by force that he was unable to
settle by wit.  My offending post is repeated at the end of this
message--you can judge for yourself.

My question is: why do we need this bully?  George has blasted so many
people in just the few years I've been here, it's stunning that he is
allowed to remain, let alone pass judgement on others. How many people are
NOT reading this list because George has run them off?

I know.  Who wants to stand up to a bully?  We have all seen George's
withering attacks. And of course, by booting me, he has made it clear that
he is willing to abuse his power to censor those who disagree with him.
(Supposedly, his job is "subscriptions".)

George doesn't own this list, he just acts that way.  The guy to talk to is
Bob Wier at <mailto:wier@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>.  It is Bob's generousity that
keeps these lists on the air.  If you've had enough, Bob's the guy to tell.

This list is a great resource. So many gentle, helpful people. It's about
time the "doctor" took his own medicine and kicked *himself* off.  Am I the
only one that feels this way?

Note: I sent the following parody to S3D in response to a long series of
off-topic messages. Some claimed to enjoy reading private messages
accidentally made public on the list, also off-topic. You should also know
that in person, George has an envyable smile.  Lots of nice teeth. And I
have a size 12 nose.

I totally agree with you.  I wonder why it's so hard to explain this to
these people?  Golly, I wouldn't say this on the list, but maybe operating
an email program is beyond some of our stereo friends.  And speaking of odd
things, you know what? I'm a little embarrased to say I actually got a shoe
stuck in my nose the other day.  Stumbled into my closet and, wham.  Weird
thing is, it was a beige high heel.  I don't own *anything* beige.  And as
long as we've got a private moment to talk, I have it on very good
authority that George whats-his-name isn't from Greece, he's from Mars.
You know, the red planet.  Have you ever tried to count how many teeth he
has?  Way more than normal, that's all I know, but keep that to yourself.
And don't breathe a word of this, but I think maybe I'm getting a rash on
my ass. I'd hate for that to get out to the rest of the list.  Well anyway,
it makes me wonder what this list is for.  Yep, it sure does make me wonder.
