P3D Stereogram 3.5 almost out!
It is about that time of the year... I will be going for a short trip
to Greece this Christmas so I have prepared the January issue a bit
earlier... It will be mailed in two weeks but here is a sneak preview...
Stereogram 3.5 features the following:
- Impressions from our last meeting (which had an open house and a stereo
print competition), results of the print competition (2nd place view
card is reproduced).
- Items from our Open House ("show and tell") presented/reviewed:
. Steinheil wide angle attachment for the Realist
. Arrow Sequential Stereo Viewer (Ron Fross has installed Wollensak
achromats and modified it for 7p - worked great!)
. John Dukes' 12X VM viewer
. Sputnik Stereo Camera

. Van Echeren's Stereoactive Alignment Magnifier
. RBT S1 (hurrah!!!)
- Part 5 of DrT's "Stereo Photography Tutorial": Shutter Speed and Motion.
Eliminate camera shake! (known to have ruined many pictures in K10 era)
What is unique about this 6 page newsletter is the amount of illustrations.
I counted 20 scanned items (mostly photographs, including 8 pictures from
our last meeting, scanned from RBT S1 slides) See photo-3d personalities
like smart-ass :-) Mark Dottle, Y2K compatible Rob Grant, DrT with his 5000
fingers, etc.
As always, a few issues are available for free to those (US addresses only)
who have not received an issue before. If you have received a free issue
in the past or would like to subscribe right away, send your check ($15
USA/Canada, $20 elsewhere) to the address below. Your money help our new
(less than 2 years old) club promote stereo photography in this part of the
world (Northern Ohio - USA).
