Luckily I don't think small detail will be a concern for this image.

I wish I had the luxury! I'm estimating the light level will allow
me to shoot at *maybe* f/2 and 1/125 at EI 800.

The charter service said most of their business is for aerial
photography, so I hope they provide a quality flight.

I'm confused on this one. To get a (hyper) stereo base with a single
camera I'll need to "traverse" the subject, won't I? Are you saying
I should have motion towards or away from the subject for the left
image, then move right and repeat for the right image?

Thanks!
I just learned I can rent a Hassy, Mamiya, or Pentax MF camera
for $35 for the day. The images are going to be digitially
manipulated before the print is created. Should I completely
blow off shooting 35mm and just shoot all MF? I'm thinking
that could really help reduce the grain problem. Local lab
has Fuji 800 and Kodak 1000 film available in MF.
